The Giveaway is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:
Employees, officers, directors and immediate family members of Sponsor, and anyone professionally connected to the administration of the Giveaway, are not eligible.
The Giveaway begins Monday, May 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time and ends Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device.
Entries from all methods below are cumulative. You may enter on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), both, and refer friends in any combination.
Method 1 — One (1) entry on Instagram. During the Entry Period, complete all three of the following on Instagram:
Completing all three steps earns one (1) entry. Partial completion does not earn an entry. Tagged accounts must be real, active and distinct individuals; tagging fake or inactive accounts will void the entry.
Method 2 — One (1) entry on X (formerly Twitter). During the Entry Period, complete all three of the following on X:
Completing all three steps earns one (1) entry. Partial completion does not earn an entry. Completing both Method 1 and Method 2 earns one entry from each, for a maximum of two (2) social entries.
Method 3 — Unlimited entries via referrals.
There is no cap on the number of referral entries. Referrals are tracked exclusively through the in-app referral dashboard.
One (1) prize will be awarded, consisting of:
Approximate retail value (ARV): USD $1,800. The ARV may vary based on actual ticket category, seat location and matchup; any difference between the ARV stated and actual prize value will not be awarded.
The stipend is a contribution toward travel costs and is not a guarantee of full coverage. Flights, hotels, ground transport, meals, travel insurance and all other expenses associated with attending the match remain the sole responsibility of the winner.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash (other than the stipend itself). No substitutions except by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, due to unavailability or circumstances beyond Sponsor's control.
The two (2) tickets and the USD $1,000 stipend are awarded together as a single, indivisible prize. A winner who is unable to receive or use the tickets — for any reason, including but not limited to failure to obtain travel documentation, ESTA denial, refusal of entry into the United States, or inability to travel — will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be drawn pursuant to Section 7A. No partial prize, cash equivalent of the tickets, or standalone stipend will be awarded to an individual winner who cannot attend the match. The only circumstance in which the USD $1,000 cash may be awarded on a standalone basis is set out in Section 7A (exhaustion of the eligible entry pool).
A potential winner will be selected on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted using a verifiable random selection method. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified by email and direct message on the platform on which they entered, within 24 hours of selection. The potential winner must respond to the notification, complete and return any required eligibility, publicity and liability documentation and complete a skill-testing question (if a Canadian resident — see Section 13), all within seventy-two (72) hours of notification. Failure to respond, or to satisfy any verification requirement, within this period forfeits the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected by random draw.
As a condition of prize award, the potential winner must, within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, submit to Sponsor copies of the following:
Sponsor will review submitted documentation within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. If the potential winner provides satisfactory documentation, the FIFA tickets and USD $1,000 stipend will be awarded in full. If the potential winner cannot provide satisfactory documentation within the verification window, that individual will be disqualified from receiving any prize, and Sponsor will conduct a new random draw from the remaining eligible entries to select an alternate winner. The alternate winner will be subject to the same notification, verification and documentation requirements set out in Sections 7 and 7A. This process will repeat until a potential winner satisfies all requirements or the eligible entry pool is exhausted, at which point Sponsor reserves the right to award the USD $1,000 cash prize to the last drawn entrant at its sole discretion.
Sponsor reserves the right to request additional documentation if the validity or authenticity of submitted documents cannot be confirmed. Sponsor's determination of whether documentation is satisfactory is final.
The winner is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all travel documents, including a valid passport and, where applicable, a valid ESTA authorization, before the match date. Sponsor is not liable for any failure of the winner to obtain travel documentation in time, or for any other circumstance preventing the winner from attending the match.
If the winner is unable to obtain the required travel documentation in time, or is otherwise unable to attend the match for any reason, the winner shall forfeit the entire prize (both the tickets and the USD $1,000 stipend) and an alternate winner will be drawn pursuant to Section 7A. The prize is indivisible: a winner who cannot attend the match will not receive a partial prize, a cash equivalent of the tickets, or the stipend on a standalone basis. The sole exception is set out in Section 7A, where the USD $1,000 cash may be awarded as a final fallback only if the eligible entry pool is exhausted without any potential winner satisfying all requirements.
Tickets to FIFA World Cup 2026 matches are issued under FIFA's terms of sale and are subject to FIFA's policies on transfer, reassignment and resale. Reassignment of the awarded tickets to the winner is contingent on the winner registering a FIFA ID and completing FIFA's official Ticket Transfer process. Sponsor will provide reasonable assistance with this process but cannot guarantee outcomes outside its control. If FIFA's reassignment process is unavailable for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state/provincial and local taxes (including any income tax, gift tax or import duty) associated with receipt and use of the prize. Sponsor will issue a tax form (e.g. IRS Form 1099-MISC for U.S. winners, or equivalent in other jurisdictions) where required by law.
By accepting the prize, the winner consents to Sponsor's use of their first name, social media handle, likeness (including any photograph submitted or taken at the match) and statements about the Giveaway, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, for advertising and promotional purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. The winner may opt out of this consent at the time of notification, and forfeit no part of the prize by doing so.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any entrant or entry that:
Sponsor's interpretation and decisions on disqualification are final and binding.
Canadian residents selected as the winner must, prior to being awarded the prize, correctly answer, unaided, a four-step mathematical skill-testing question administered by Sponsor. Failure to correctly answer the question forfeits the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected.
Personal information collected from entrants is used solely for administering the Giveaway and as set out in Sponsor's Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, employees, officers and directors from any liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with participation in the Giveaway, acceptance, possession or use of the prize or any travel related to the prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for: late, lost, illegible, mutilated, incomplete, garbled, undelivered or misdirected entries; technical, hardware, software, server, network, electronic, computer or telephone failures; or any cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.
To ensure that any prize winner is able to attend the match without visa barriers, this Giveaway is restricted to legal residents of the following jurisdictions only:
Citizens of ESTA-eligible countries who are denied ESTA authorization or refused entry into the United States will not be eligible to attend the match and will be disqualified pursuant to Section 7A; an alternate winner will be drawn. No partial prize, cash equivalent, or standalone stipend will be awarded to a disqualified winner.
For clarity: eligibility is determined solely by the entrant's country of residence and citizenship, not by the national teams competing in the awarded match. Residents of Iraq are not eligible to enter this Giveaway, notwithstanding Iraq's participation as a competing team in the awarded match, as Iraq is not included in the eligible jurisdictions listed above.
Residents of the Province of Quebec, Canada are not eligible to enter this Giveaway. Sponsor has not registered this Giveaway with the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ) as required under Quebec law.
Residents of the following jurisdictions are ineligible due to applicable Canadian federal sanctions, export control laws, or payment processing restrictions:
This list may be updated at any time without notice to reflect changes in applicable law. Residents of any other jurisdiction where this Giveaway, or the awarding of the prize, is prohibited or restricted by law are also ineligible, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Giveaway shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, and entrants consent to such jurisdiction.
This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms Inc., X Corp. or FIFA. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that they are providing information to Sponsor and not to those platforms. By entering, each entrant releases Instagram, Meta, X and FIFA from any and all liability arising from or related to the Giveaway.
Entries submitted via X (Method 2) must comply with X Corp.'s official Guidelines for Promotions. The following rules apply to all X entrants and are incorporated into these Official Rules:

The following countries participate in the US Visa Waiver Program as of May 15, 2026, allowing their citizens to apply for ESTA authorization in lieu of a US visa. Citizens of these countries do not require a US visa and are eligible for the full prize under Section 16.1.
